Located in Philadelphia, PA The Lighthouse is the oldest 5013C in Philly—the organization has been active since 1893. They have a small administration and are community-based, located right around the corner from our Philly facility (which is one of the main reasons we love supporting them)!
Their mission is simple: to provide educational, recreational, cultural, social and economic improvement programs to families to improve the quality of their lives. One of their main programs is the Lighthouse Boys’ and Girls’ clubs—they have a 15-acre field at their facility, where they put together sports teams and games as well as anything from airplane modeling, to singing to boxing to help get youth off the streets. They also offer classroom education programs. The activities they provide continue to grow and change, but they need support from businesses like Case in order to keep them running.
