Case Paper Philadelphia recently installed its fourth precision sheeter, further expanding its ability for quick turn-around.
Purchased from the Maxson Automatic Machinery Co., the MDH Dual Knife Rotary Sheeter is designed to sheet up to four webs of paper from 16 “to 81” inches. The compact design allows Case Paper to efficiently run both short and long-production orders. The sheeter’s versatility also mpowers Case Paper to efficiently accommodate the needs of digital, folio, and large format sheet markets, delivering press ready skids to our customers within 24 to 48 hours.
“This new addition accelerates our converting times in a highly competitive market where speed and service carry the day,” said Simon Schaffer, CMO of Case Paper.
Later this fall, Case Philadelphia will also accept delivery of a new custom-built Catbridge two drum surface slitter winder. Precision engineered at 86 inches wide and able to perform up to 20 cuts, the slitter winder will go as narrow as two inches. The new machine will increase high-quality production, enhance finished roll quality, and provide customers with fast, reliable converting at any volume.
