Batter Up! Case Paper welcomes Joseph Hecht to the team as Controller. Joe has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and brings over 20 years of proven accounting proficiency. The diligence he has consistently exhibited over the course of his career has significantly contributed to the financial stability and success of organizations in various industries including Manufacturing, Public Relations, and even the MLB!

But his love for baseball didn’t start there. Having grown up in New Jersey, Joe naturally became a devoted New York Yankees fan. But here’s a curveball – he was once a professional baseball broadcaster on radio and TV for the minor league Mets in Binghamton!

Since being drafted for Case Paper’s team in March, Joe started off with a doubleheader overseeing both Case Paper’s acquisition and integration of a laminating and coating facility in Indiana, now called Case Makes. In future games this season, Joe will be streamlining and centralizing various insurance programs across all Case Paper locations, producing and analyzing financial statements, coordinating various tax filings and audits, and optimizing business processes for the accounting team.

“We’re ecstatic to welcome such a slugger to our accounting team,” said Brian Berger, current CFO of Case Paper, “Joe’s impressive batting record of implementing new ERP systems, directing company-wide payroll operations, and improving internal policies and procedures makes us confident we have a real MVP.”

Joe enjoys an active personal life with hobbies including coaching his son Freddy’s sports teams (yes one of which is baseball!), gardening, and exploring the Hudson Valley with his wife, Eva, and daughter, Rosalie.
