Case Paper, a leader in paper and board distribution for the printing and packaging industries, is expanding its team and looking for a Credit & Collection Specialist who can not only handle paper logistics but also has a knack for tolerating tearable puns. The Role: As a Credit & Collection Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our Credit team, managing credit assessments, limits, and financial analysis. Your focus will be on evaluating creditworthiness, ensuring adherence to credit policies, and collaborating with various teams for effective customer account management. Your role involves clear communication with customers and timely handling of pending orders in AS400. Your sense of humor remains crucial in navigating the intricacies of credit management. Responsibilities:
  • Assessing creditworthiness based on a credit investigation and financial analysis of new and existing customers.
  • Assigning credit limits for new accounts and continually reviewing limits of existing customer accounts.
  • Uphold credit policies, including terms of sale and credit limits.
  • Communicating with customers via phone, fax, email, and letters to discuss financials, terms, and/or other issues.
  • Work closely with AR Collectors, Sales, and AR Managers to effectively manage customers’ accounts.
